The Yellow Submarine song, though loved in some regard almost universally, never would have made a good movie, and I'm glad they didn't waste money on forcing it into theaters. There just isn't enough plot or characters to pull from and by the looks of it, they were using that same creepy animation style like you find in the Polar Express movie.
